Needed more heating at the office

When you ask a woman from way down south to take over a failing office way, way up north, don’t be surprised if you get some Heating, Ventilation and A/C requests… When the bosses broached the topic of me going up north to turn around a regional office, I had mixed emotions, but on the one hand, I was truly excited to be presented with such a fast track choice for my career.

On the other hand the idea of a winter time that came with a gas furnace running day and evening was not charming at all, but, it was just way too hard for me to tell my bosses no! Had I done that, I’m guessing that would be the last time I was asked… So I took a day to think about it and then went with my gut… It appeared that I was going to learn all about heating a home during the Winter.

Where I lived at the time was barely an hour from where I grew up and that was intentional. I like my Winters with a crucial case of silent heat pump! This was going to be a real challenge and I’m cheerful that I wasn’t trying to child myself at all about how hard is was going to be. However, the home I bought came with new residential Heating, Ventilation and A/C which included a new and truly efficient gas furnace. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C contractor showed me what I needed to do when it came to preparing for winter time so the home was a toasty moderate zone. But the office is a whole other pet. It’s a fairly crucial space with more than 50 people laboring mostly in cubicles. There is one thermostat setting for outdated commercial Heating, Ventilation and A/C. One of the first things I did was to submit a proposal for zone controlled Heating, Ventilation and A/C.
