HVAC units costs lots of dollars to replace

I earned an SMS from my power company that stated that later this year, they will be launching a program to replace old, old appliances with more energy efficient versions with fantastic Energy Star ratings, and the appliances that qualify include but are not limited to refrigerators, water heaters, plus HVAC units, however i could use a current HVAC unit, as mine is over 15 years old.

And though for the most part it keeps my property comfortable, the component has lost some efficiency over the years, but however, replacing an HVAC component is no easy feat.

In fact, it costs a lot of time plus money. The average cost of a current HVAC component is between $5,000 plus $12,000 depending on the size of the system. And I don’t know about you, however I really don’t have that extra money to spend on a current unit! So, it would be nice if I could get a current component from my power company… Based on the SMS, all I would’ve needed to do was go to the website plus apply for the incentive. And once approved, the power company would schedule the upgrade, unluckyly, after learning the entire SMS, I discovered that I did not qualify for a free HVAC unit, or any other appliances listed because I didn’t meet the income requirements, for now, I feel I will continue to use my 15-year-old component until it no longer functions. At that point, I will need to figure out how to pay the thousands of dollars it will cost for a current HVAC unit.
