The previous owner was selling it cheap because it needed a new roof, and that would be on my tab. I didn’t think this through and found myself struggling to pick the right roofing contractor for the task at hand. Thankfully, my dad has experience with roofing companies and helped me narrow down the list. We settled on one roofing contractor who had many positive reviews and worked in my local area. He’d handle roof replacement for me, and probably also work on the siding. I saw on his website that they handle both roofing and siding issues.
