The HVAC specialist took longer than she expected

In fact, the service call lasted for almost 4 hours, and Kay had to pause her meeting a couple of times to talk to the Heating and Air Conditioning professional

A month ago, Kay was planning her yearly Heating and Air Conditioning maintenance with her Heating and Air Conditioning provider. Typically, Kay schedules the maintenance on the weekends or on one of her mornings off. However, because she heard a weird noise coming from her Heating and Air Conditioning unit, Kay decided to schedule service right away. She made the appointment for 11 a.m. thinking that the service would last for 1 to 2 hours, which is normal for Heating and Air Conditioning maintenance. She had a meeting at 2 pm with someone from the west coast that she needed to facilitate. So, Kay was hoping that the service expert would be gone by then, but that didn’t happen. The HVAC expert showed up a little after 11 a.m., which was a bit of an inconvenience. But he was kind and he apologized for his delay as he didn’t anticipate the traffic on her side of the neighborhood that afternoon. And yes, the traffic is usually bad because of everyone traveling to work. Anyway, when he began the service, Kay mentioned that she had a video call at 2 pm that she needed to be on. She asked the professional how long the service would take, and he assured her that he would be done before noon. Well, as mentioned, that was not the case. In fact, the service call lasted for almost 4 hours, and Kay had to pause her meeting a couple of times to talk to the Heating and Air Conditioning professional. He apologized for the service call running longer than expected but he wanted to make sure that the unit was functioning respectfully. And though he was a bit frazzled trying to facilitate both her meeting and the Heating and Air Conditioning professional, everything worked out well in the end.
