Perhaps it has something to do with the white noise from the fan

We are so happy because earlier this year, we bought a ceiling fan and now we are truly using it.

We bought the fan after our coworker Tim mentioned how he uses a ceiling fan to help to lower utility bills in his home.

And since we live alone, a ceiling fan would be useful in our bedroom, especially at night. Before purchasing the fan, we did some research online and discovered that a ceiling fan when used with an Heating and Air Conditioning unit can conserve energy. Based on our findings, we can increase the temperature on our thermostat by up to 2 or 3 degrees separate from losing any comfort. Usually, we would sleep with our thermostat set at 75 degrees, but with the ceiling fan, we are now sleeping with the thermostat at 78 degrees. And we can confirm that we have not had an issue so far. In fact, since installing the fan, we are sleeping a lot better than we did before. Perhaps it has something to do with the colorless noise from the fan. The best part about the ceiling fan is that it can also be useful during the winter months, but reversing the direction of the blades can help to push warm air down and better circulate the heat throughout the room. So while in the Winter, we can set our thermostat lower and use the fan to help with regulating the warm air. Some people have said that a ceiling fan has saved them money on their energy bill, but we can’t confirm that right now. What we can confirm though is that we did increase the temperature on our thermostat, and we are sleeping like babies, and that’s enough of a win for us.
