My sister in law can legitimately be called the “coupon queen”; If there is a deal out there to be had, she is sure to find it.
- She even finds ways to use many coupons on the same item, making it free sometimes.
I entirely envy her however know that I am not willing to put in the time & effort to search for the deals. I do use coupons, but, if they are not convenient, I will not take the time to do so. I am sure my wife would savor it if I were more like her sister in that respect. Because of the way she is, I was not surprised at all when she told us that she saved hundreds of dollars on the installation of her current Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system. Her system that she had in the house was undoubtedly old. When she learned that she was wasting money on her energy bills, she immediately wanted to substitute it with a new, more efficient one. After all, wasting money, to her was like committing a federal crime. She spent weeks researching, talking to dealers, & looking for deals online. She finally settled on a system that would save her on her energy bills, supply her a tax write off, & came with a rebate for $300. She was so excited to let us know how much money she was saving when you added everything up. She has way more patience that I ever would. I think when my associate and I decide to have labor done, or substitute our Heating, Ventilation, & A/C system I will enlist her help with it so my associate and I can save money too.
