Mom is getting on in years plus the time has come to beginning talking about her residing arrangements.
She has been on her own for the past eight years since Dad died plus it is becoming more difficult for her to carry out daily tasks on her own.
My partner plus I are the logical option to take her in however our apartment will need some renovations in order to do this. My superb friend and I want her to still have her independence as much as she can so my pal and I are having corporations make some swings to the den part of the house… They are installing a current kitchen so that mom can come plus go on her own however it will have an alarm installed so my pal and I know when this happens. This way if she decides to go anywhere in the middle of the evening my pal and I can stop her before she gets too far, but one of the concerns she has, residing on her own, is her constant need to adjust the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. My superb friend and I will stop by her new apartment plus find it way too sizzling or too cold plus my pal and I worry that this is not healthy. My superb friend and I are going to have a thermostat put all the wall in her current space however it won’t easily be hooked into the Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. The temperature in her space will be controlled by the main dwelling system so it will remain constant no matter what she does. She will still feel in control however have a comfortable temperature year round too. My superb friend and I don’t feel she will ever notice however if she does my pal and I will simply tell her that my pal and I will look into the problem.
