My child has been absolutely enjoying his Senior year in High School.
I can’t think it is almost over & he will be off to university before I know it.
The final event for the year is the Prom… Every boy dreams of the perfect evening with his friends & his special guy. My child is no different. My friend and I shopped for weeks for the perfect dress, shoes & hair stylist. Things were going wonderful & then the school sent out a text saying that the location had to be moved because the hall they had rented had a pipe burst. The arena was flooded & the prom was being resituated to a facility down my the water. That seemed ok until my associate and I realized that it was an open air arena & there would be no Heating, Ventilation & A/C system in arena. My friend and I live in the Northeast & even though it was May the weather can still be downright cold! Couple that with the fact that the kids would be down on the waterfront & it just spelled disaster. My daughter’s dress is strapless & I had a feeling that he would be frigid freezing all evening. I called a few parents & they were all having the same concerns. One of the Moms came up with the idea of renting those patio heaters for the space & contacted a local Heating, Ventilation & A/C rental arena & my associate and I arranged for them to be dropped off before the kids arrived. This made all the difference in the world & absolutely saved the evening. It absolutely was a evening to remember for my child & all of his friends.
