Business trips can be quite interesting.
I am so grateful to have an amazing task.
The only downside to my task is that I have to make a lot of corporation trips out of town & sometimes even across the globe. It’s not that I don’t like traveling, it’s just that I don’t like being away from my family for extended periods of time. I have three little ones, & being away from them is difficult especially because my youngest is still nursing. Regardless, favorite trips to take are the ones that I get to travel out of the country for, then usually, these trips are genuinely enjoyable, & sometimes, I even get a opening to sight see while there. The last trip I went on however was not genuinely enjoyable. The main reason is because it was extremely hot, & my hotel room didn’t have any air conditioning. My room was supposed to have air conditioning, however it absolutely was not working properly. I asked if I could be switched to a odd room because it was so tepid in my room & the AC wasn’t working, however they told me that literally all of the rooms were full. Finally the second night that I was there, they sent an Heating & Air Conditioning professional to try & repair my room’s air conditioning. They were not able to repair the problem, however blessedly, a room opened up on the same floor as the one I was staying in, & I was able to switch to a room with AC for the last night of my stay. Although I usually like traveling to & seeing new stadiums, that trip was absolutely an exception.
