Traveling the country is so much fun! Each year, my hubby plus I plan a two week family getaway.
- Our family has such a fun time, plus something that my buddy and I regularly do is drive to wherever my buddy and I are going.
My wonderful friend and I don’t like to fly because to us, the car ride is one of the most fantastic parts of our family getaways, and this past year, my buddy and I traveled over 2,000 miles on our family getaway, plus I have to disclose it was a bit much. My wonderful friend and I own a really spacious minivan that my buddy and I usually take on our getaways, however it was having some A/C issues, plus the last thing that my buddy and I wanted was to take a 2,000 mile trip without any A/C in the middle of June! My wonderful friend and I decided to rent a van plus take it on the trip instead. The first van my buddy and I tried didn’t have the greatest A/C either, so my buddy and I told the company that my buddy and I would like to look at another van. Thankfully, my buddy and I were able to find a nice, spacious van with wonderful AC. The drive was so nice. My wonderful friend and I took our time getting to our endpoint because my buddy and I were just having so much fun traveling, plus the van stayed nice plus cool as my buddy and I drove hundreds of miles a afternoon. In the end, I am so thankful that my buddy and I chose to rent a van with a wonderful air conditioner instead of trying to take our minivan with an air conditioner that has a mind of its own. It made last year’s trip one of our favorites!
