My hubby plus I have five charming children, plus that means my buddy and I drive a substantial fifteen passenger van when my buddy and I go on getaways.
We’ve often tried to take trips with the family in our minivan, however it never ends up well.
There just isn’t enough space for all seven of us plus our bags plus suitcases. My hubby decided that it would be best if my buddy and I just started renting bigger vehicles for our getaways. I am so cheerful that he did because having a bigger motorcar makes our family trips so much more enjoyable. I think, our kids are the most grateful for it because they are the ones that have to kneel crammed in the back if my buddy and I take our minivan. The last trip that my buddy and I took was quite interesting even though my buddy and I had a substantial van. The van was so substantial that it was taxing to heat, plus it seemed like it took ages before it was warm. The excruciating kids would be sitting in the back shivering just waiting for the van to get warmer. My hubby thinks that there was something wrong with the furnace because it just wasn’t blowing as strongly as it should have been. There were a couple afternoons of our getaway that my buddy and I ended up renting a smaller van just so that the kids would be warm enough to enjoy the sights. Because it was wintertime, multiple of the things my buddy and I did involved driving pretty long distances, plus the substantial van with the messed up heater just wasn’t worth the hassle of trying to take it. In the end, my buddy and I enjoyed our trip, however my buddy and I know for the next time to test the heater in a van before renting it plus taking it on a long trip!
