Roommate won't take care of the Heating and Air Conditioning system – waiting for appointment

When I was much younger I genuinely didn’t understand human beings.

I was afraid of them all, and I perceived them to be superior to me in every way.

Frankly, I just wasn’t well socialized when it came to other people. As I get older, I realize that I have a lot to offer my species. In fact, I am a pretty responsible and particular human being. This becomes clearer and clearer as time goes on and I meet more people my age. The discrepancy between how I act and how my peers act is shocking. I know it’s most clearly demonstrated When comparing me to my roommate, then she comes from an harshly wealthy family and has no sense of responsibility or concern for cash, and meanwhile, I am from below the poverty line and I care deeply about being financially responsible. That’s why, I am currently resting in the household on my afternoon off of work waiting for the Heating and Air Conditioning worker to arrive. When I moved in, my roommate could not tell me a single thing about the central heating and cooling system. I asked her about the air filter that it uses, the brand of temperature control that she trusted, and her intended routine service schedule for the entire Heating and Air Conditioning system. She looks at me completely dumbfounded and told me to ask the building owner. Unfortunately, I have become responsible for all of these Heating and Air Conditioning tasks. Because she does not care about wasting cash on our weekly energy bill or neglecting to arrange routine service appointments, and therefore wearing down in the central heating and cooling equipment, that means it’s my job. Maybe I do not come from the best family, but at least I am responsible when it comes to finances and Heating and Air Conditioning systems.
