When deciding upon my job years ago I knew I wanted to eventually be able to work for myself.
The idea of answering to someone else plus laboring on their schedule just didn’t fit into my personality.
I am a guy who does not respond well to routine therefore I knew it would be better to be self-emplotted . I tried laboring as a consultant for several companies where are you are selling different products through dwelling parties, that did not work out well at all. I am not organized enough to maintain a schedule like that. I finally settled on a dwelling data entry program where I can work from my dwelling office plus on my own timeframe. Most of the assignments involve transcribing meeting notes that have been recorded so it is nice to work in a quiet environment. I also have the ability to keep my space plus warm or cool as I like which I would never have in a traditional office setting. The view out my windows is awesome too. My wonderful friend and I put my office at the back of the dwelling so I can watch the pigeons at the feeders plus see the trees as they flower in the Springtime. Sure, these can be a distraction on some afternoons too, however the benefits of the task make it all worth the effort to stay focused. Some afternoons, when it is freezing plus snowy outside, I close the blinds plus turn up the heat. I try plus trick myself into believing that it is warm plus sunny instead of freezing plus dreary. This makes it easier to get through the day as well.
