For the past numerous months I’ve been hearing endlessly about my co-workers amazing house. I haven’t been able to see it because she lives on the opposite side of the city, however I’ve always been curious about what was so incredible with this rental house. Well, last weekend I went and saw it for myself. I have to say, everyone was right, however all of the hype was perfectly appropriate for this awesome little home on the south side of the city! From the moment we arrived, it was evident that it was a entirely cool piece of property. There was a good wrap around porch on the front, that extended all the way to the back. There was another deck on the second floor, which overlooked the giant backyard. There were appealing replaced floors and cubby walls. Best of all, there was incredible Modern Heating and Cooling device installed in the house. I would be lying if I told you that I attended the entire home tour with everyone else. As they walked around ooing and awwing, I found my way straight over to the heating cottageet. I needed to see what kind of forced air furnace they were utilizing in this space. When I opened it, I was shocked to see that it wasn’t a traditional forced air furnace at all. Of course, they had amazing radiant radiant floors installed throughout the house. Utilizing the separate radiant heated flooring systems, they had her own controlled heating system. That explained why it felt so comfortable no matter what room you were laying in. By the time the tour group returned back downstairs, I had fully investigated their heating system.
