I’d wanted Ted and I to go visit the estate last Friday, but he couldn’t make it.
We love checking out such estate for vintage stuff, and we even have a website where we put our findings on sale.
This all began many years ago when we went to the first estate sale. Ted and I found amazing stuff that included decor, utensils, clothes, shoes and purses. After we took our haul home, we snapped pictures and put them on our social media pages. People started bidding in the comment section and that’s how the business was born. Now, we make sure to know of all estate sales in the states that surround us. At times the drive is long and tiresome, but we always bring home some great scores. On this specific Friday, I’d have to attend the sale on my own since Ted had a meeting with a siding contractor. He’d purchased a house the previous year and his siding was falling apart. He wanted the siding contractor to advise him on what to do to make his house look better. I spoke with Ted when I got back and he told me all about his meeting with the siding contractor. The guy suggested siding replacement to go hand in hand with the new roof. The previous month, Ted had roofers at his home removing the old roof and installing a new one. He’d gotten a local roofing company to handle that job and the results were excellent. Ted agreed with the siding contractor and opted for replacement to further uplift his home.
