Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C units costs thousands of dollars to upgrade

I received an SMS from my power corporation that stated that later this year, they will be launching a program to upgrade old, ancient appliances with more energy efficient versions with great Energy Star ratings, but the appliances that qualify include however are not limited to refrigerators, water heaters, & Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C units, however i could use a current Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C unit, as mine is over 15 years old! And though for the most part it keeps my household comfortable, the component has lost some efficiency over the years, then however, replacing an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C component is no straight-forward feat.

  • In fact, it costs a lot of time & cash.

The average cost of a current Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C component is between $5,000 plus $12,000 depending on the size of the system. And I don’t know about you, however I particularly don’t have that extra cash to spend on a current unit, so, it would be nice if I could get a current component from my power corporation, based on the SMS, all I would’ve needed to do was go to the website plus apply for the incentive. And once approved, the power corporation would schedule the upgrade; Unfortunately, after learning the entire SMS, I discovered that I did not qualify for a free Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C unit, or any other appliances listed because I didn’t meet the income requirements! For now, I believe I will continue to use my 15-year-old component until it no longer functions. At that point, I will need to figure out how to pay the thousands of dollars it will cost for a current Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C unit.
