I never experienced real southern weather until I went to school. My dad was in the military, so my family moved quite often. I lived in ten odd houses in seven odd states throughout my childhood. I constantly enjoyed when we got relocated to anywhere down south. The warm weather plus sunlight constantly made me so cheerful. We lived down south for a total of seven years. I enjoyed every second of it! I remember the summers were quite hot, but I didn’t mind; I just found a way to keep cool. We constantly had air conditioning in our house, so inside stayed nice plus cool throughout the warm Summer months. When it was time for me to decide what school I wanted to attend, I made sure that it was anywhere down south. I ended up on the easily southern tip of the U.S., plus it turns out it was much hotter than I ever remember it being as a girl. I literally dreaded going outside because of the heat, but the worst part was the humidity. I ended up getting married plus moving up north where it rarely got above eighty-five degrees in the summertime, plus the humidity was pretty low as well.
