Beth went to spend a couple of days with her brother who lives in the Southern part of the country. He moved to the South about 15 years ago and enjoyed it so much that it has now become his home. Beth likes to visit the South, but she can’t say that she loves it enough to ever want to move down. She appreciates living in the northern part of the country in a big city with lots going on. Of course, she is single with no kids, so big city life is easy for her. However, her sibling is married with 2 kids and it’s better for him and his family to raise the kids in a more family oriented part of the country. His house is a split floor plan, but only has one thermostat for weather conditions control. And he doesn’t think his room gets cool enough during the warmer months. Beth has heard of installing a fan that is used in conjunction with the Heating and Air Conditioning unit to better circulate the air throughout a room. But adding a window air conditioner inside a room that has a central air conditioner is a foreign concept to her. Either way, it’s his house and he must do what makes him comfortable.
