I have the worst luck when it comes to air conditioners. I have broken so many. I wish that I could say that I only broke one air conditioner last summer, but I broke two. I don’t know how I do it. Well, I know how I broke one of them because I dropped it down a flight of stairs. I guess that was definitely my fault, but the other one just quit on me after only using it for about a month and a half. I don’t have any idea what I did to it. Unfortunately, I got it second hand, so it did not have a warranty on it. I love having air conditioning in my house during the hot summer months, so I was not about to go without an air conditioner for the entire rest of the summer. I bought another air conditioner, and that is the one that I dropped down the stairs after only having it for about two weeks. I now have a third air conditioner that I found at a garage sale for a really cheap price. I am glad that I got it cheaply because if I keep up my current record, I will be broke from just buying air conditioners. It is sort of funny when I think back on it, but it is also very frustrating. I am treating the air conditioner that I have now like it is gold. I have done everything that I can to ensure that it lasts as long as possible. I don’t plan on carrying it down any flights of stairs anytime soon either.
