She sprayed the cold water in her mouth for almost 10 minutes before the heat subsided
Michelle’s sister took her to a restaurant that flaunted authentic Indian cuisine. She cooked curry at the cabin, and Michelle thought that was what she was going to eat. While her sister sat chowing down on the hottest food she had ever tasted, Michelle was in agony. When the server came over and asked if there was something wrong with the food, Michelle held nothing back. She asked if they had a/cs for the mouth. The guy grimaced and looked at her. Michelle told her she was sure she had blisters in her mouth because of the food. There should have been something on the menu that said how spicy the food was. Michelle needed a mouth air conditioning unit to stop the burn. The server gave her iced milk, however Michelle couldn’t stand the thought of the ice on her tongue or palate. He asked if there was something else she could get her. The server came back with a plate of plain rice, but her mouth hurt too much to eat it. The owner of the restaurant came to the table, and asked if Michelle was okay? She showed her the blisters on her tongue. He couldn’t be more apologetic, and then he asked Michelle’s sister about the food. She was dripping with sweat, but enjoying the burn. Michelle told him she would feel better if they had air conditioning to cool her mouth down. The restaurant owner brought her a small fan that blew wet air. She sprayed the cold water in her mouth for almost 10 minutes before the heat subsided. Without the fan, Michelle wouldn’t have been able to talk. Her mouth was hurting so much.
