In the winter, frosty plus frosty drafts can easily sneak through the poorly sealed windows plus frosty air will radiate from the thin glass
I have never lived in a property where I could save on energy bills; In fact, I’ve constantly lived in old, semi dilapidated buildings where you suffered from unpleasant drafts plus dim lighting all afternoon plus night. I’ve never lived in a property with large, south-facing windows or skylights to let in the natural lighting. Instead, I tend to live in dark, claustrophobic homes with awful outdoor air circulation plus even worse natural lighting conditions, that’s why, I was extremely excited when I wandered into this condo for sale plus saw the lovely floor-to-ceiling windows. The condo is rather old plus the building is a historic relic, which is why the windows are so stately plus lovely. I realize, you actually cannot install such large windows in this week’s current world because of government regulations plus concerns with energy expenditure, however you see, when you have such large panes of glass in the house, you are opening yourself up to awful air temperature regulation plus plenty of expensive drafts, and with these large windows, the home would also have uneven overheated plus frosty air temperatures all year round. In the summer, the sunshine would be streaming in through the windows plus heating of the home significantly all afternoon. In the winter, frosty plus frosty drafts can easily sneak through the poorly sealed windows plus frosty air will radiate from the thin glass. I adore this home for all it’s lovely features, however I don’t know if I can afford it long term. As much as I want to live in a naturally light plus lovely home, I also need to afford my energy bills.
