Not only has my fireplace made me more of a homebody, but it also has made me a much more avid reader
There is nothing like coming home to a nice, toasty house. I’ve always thought of myself as more of a career woman than a stay at home type, but the older I get, the more I desire to just be at home more. I used to be the kind of girl that couldn’t get out enough. Every weekend, I would go and hang out with friends, and evenings after work, I would usually got out too. Looking back, I was really only at home to sleep. My husband and I just got married about one year ago, so he thinks that the reason I love being at home now is because he is there. I think that is partially the truth, but there is just something else to it. The other day, I was thinking about this very thing, and I came to the conclusion that it must be my fireplace. Right after Todd and I got married, we bought a pretty large electric fireplace, and I am surprised at how much I love it. Now, I sit at work just dreaming of going home to my nice, warm fireplace. Not only has my fireplace made me more of a homebody, but it also has made me a much more avid reader. I just love to sit and read next to the fireplace which is something that I never really did before. Having a fireplace has made me love my house, and I am really excited about my new way of living. My friends may be a little jealous now that I spend more time with my fireplace than them, but I simply can’t help it!
