Our grandson saw a snake in the A/C unit.

My grandson has a healthy fear of snakes.

He isn’t afraid of them, despite the fact that he knows not to play with them, and keep his distance.

He also knows the difference between poisonous and non-poisonous, despite the fact that he won’t get close enough to check. He consistently calls his paternal Grandpa to remove the snake and take it far away from the house. He was simply playing in the pool out back, when I heard him running into the house. He told me there was a snake in the a/c. I asked if he was sure it was a snake and not a small branch. He said he saw the snake go into the air conditioning unit. I called my partner and told him about the snake in the air conditioning unit. He got his tongs and went outside. He looked in the A/C unit air slots, but it was too dark to see. Even with his flashlight, he couldn’t see much. He carefully removed the front cover. After shining his flashlight around, he quickly closed the cover again. He got our grandson inside, and told me not to let him out. He called an acquaintance who was an exterminator. He told me he saw at least eight pairs of eyup in the air conditioning unit. When his acquaintance showed up, it took him almost two hours to chase down all the snakes. There were many eggs inside, which he destroyed, despite the fact that he said the snakes would go to someone he knew. As long as the snakes weren’t in the a/c, I didn’t care what he did with them.
