My family and I live in a pretty good sized house. It is not huge by any means, but it is much bigger than our apartment was, so we are super thankful for it. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Our apartment only have one bedroom and one bathroom. My husband and I have four children, so having one bedroom and four children was quite difficult and cramped. We used to be able to cool our entire apartment with just one air conditioner because it was so small. When we moved into our new house, we bought a second air conditioner since it is a lot more space to cool. We put one air conditioner in the living room, and one in the upstairs hallway hoping that it would reach all of the bedrooms that are upstairs. It actually does quite a good job at cooling the upstairs, but downstairs was not cool enough, especially not the kitchen. It is on the opposite side of the house, so the living room air conditioner just did not cute it. We ended up buying a third air conditioner to put in the kitchen, and now, our house is quite comfortable. My husband would prefer it to be about ten degrees cooler, but at least it is manageable now. We can enjoy being in the house without sweating to death. If my husband gets his way, we will have a fourth air conditioner in our bedroom someday, but I just really do not want to see the electric bill after that happens. It is already high enough with just three air conditioners going.
