Perhaps he’ll get an air purifier if there’s another pandemic

Now that the pandemic is behind us, most of us aren’t thinking about indoor air quality.

  • In fact, Jim has not given it a second thought in quite a while.

Well, that’s not the case for his neighbor Zack who is obsessed with making sure that he is breathing in the best air possible. During the height of the pandemic, he even set up a whole household air cleaner inside his HVAC unit. It gave him peace of mind and made him feel safer inside his own space. Jim was less vigilant about the indoor air quality in his home. In fact, he did nothing odd than what he would normally do while in the pandemic. Jim made sure that his AC air filter was washed and changed it when it became dirty. He also made sure that his HVAC device was inspected, and he cleaned and vacuumed his household and the air conditioning system vents. Jim also opened up some windows to allow some fresh air from outside to come in. And these easy things were able to maintain a great indoor air quality inside his house. He is not against installing a whole household air cleaner nor is he against purchasing whole-house air purifiers either. Jim thinks that if a whole household air cleaner makes someone feel safer, then they should by all means use it. Perhaps these air cleaners will become useful again if/when another pandemic occurs. His hope is that we will never have to go through something like that again, but it’s better to be safe than sorry, right?
