My child has been really enjoying her Senior year in High School. I can’t believe it is almost over and she will be off to school before I know it. The final event for the year is the Prom, but every girl dreams of the perfect night with her friends and her special woman. My child is no different. My friend and I shopped for weeks for the perfect dress, shoes and hair stylist. Things were going great and then the school sent out a text saying that the location had to be moved because the hall they had rented had a pipe burst. The arena was flooded and the prom was being relocated to a facility down my the water. That seemed ok until we realized that it was an open air arena and there would be no Heating and Air Conditioning system in arena. My friend and I live in the Northeast and even though it was May the weather can still be downright cold, then couple that with the fact that the teenagers would be down on the waterfront and it just spelled disaster. My daughter’s dress is strapless and I had a feeling that she would be chilly cold all night. I called a few parents and they were all having the same concerns. One of the dads came up with the idea of renting those patio boilers for the space and contacted a local Heating and Air Conditioning rental arena and we arranged for them to be dropped off before the teenagers arrived. This made all the difference in the world and really saved the night. It really was a night to remember for my child and all of her friends.
