I’ve reached a point in my life when I definitely do not love going out as much as I used to! When I was in my early twenties & younger, I was always excited at the option to go out on the town.
I got super stoked about getting dressed up, putting together an outfit, & finding a costly new place to dine at.
I guess it was an severely novel experience back then, & I loved being seen out on the town. As an adult, I do not care undoubtedly much about any of this. I am far more distraught with saving money & spending quality time with people that I care about, however on the scarce option that I do go out to a diner, I am often disappointed. The repair will be poor or, several times, the indoor air quality is entirely horrendous. I can’t tell you how several times I have had to get up & leave a diner because it was too chilly for me to continue eating there. If possible, I willgo to the motorcar & grab a jacket for extra warmth. If I do not have an extra layer sitting around, but, I genuinely can’t stand to kneel in crazy air conditioner & try to love a meal. I will end up shivering throughout the entire dinner & trying to hide from the air vents around the diner. At that point, it’s not even worth sticking around & trying to finish out my overpriced meal. I would rather face the public humiliation of complaining about indoor air quality & leaving the diner. Truly, if an diner is not going to invest in high quality indoor air temperature equipment, I’m not going to invest in their food.
