On TV everything seems so easy! From ipad hacking to catching criminals, from painting to skydiving, when you watch things on cable it feels like you could do them just as well.
Is that just me, or do you do that too? I have been seeing a lot of condo renovation shows, or programs about condo flipping, and I started to think it was something I could handle.
It only took one day of actual renovation work before I realized I was in over my head. I found more concerns with the roofing than I could have ever imagined. I had to be careful with every step I took, because the roof was so badly in need of extensive repairs. I did a little online research, and found three odd roofing contractors in my area that handled residential roofs; Only two of them gave a free price estimate for roof upgradement, so those were the two I made appointments with. One of these roofing companies was a family owned and operated business, with a man, her fiance, and their three sons. I chose this family-run roofing corporation because they seemed eager to work, and they gave me a fantastic price estimate.
