Soccer camp

My child is ten years old and has decided he wants to play soccer next summer.

It is currently mid January and the flyer he brought dwelling from college featured a week long soccer camp to help athletes be ready for the upcoming season. He is unquestionably happy and can’t wait to go. The camp is being held at a local arena and because it is indoors, I had no worries about the modern weather. Most of us had over a foot of snow packed in our yards and our yearly average temperatures were in the 30’s. One the first afternoon of camp, my good friend and I packed his dinner, device and shorts to change into once he arrived. He wore his winter time gear on the way because it was so cold. I dropped him off outside and told him I would option him up at 3:00. I was only back dwelling an hour when his coach called to say there was a problem. My first thought was an injury or something. Turns out, the arena was experiencing a concern with the Heating and A/C system and I needed to option my child up. The entire arena was down to 60 degrees by the time I got there which wouldn’t have been excruciating if they youngsters were wearing sweatpants and sweatshirts. Shorts and t-shirts were not so good. I spoke with the coach before leaving and he said that management was laboring on the problem. They hoped to have it fixed by the following afternoon so he said to plan on camp at the normal time. My child was disappointed that his first afternoon was split short but grateful that he didn’t have to spend the whole afternoon shivering in the freezing arena.
