Back when I was in school as a kid the one thing I really hated was the fact that the school had very bad heating in the winter time months of the year. I would always be freezing in school when it would snow or be really cold out. I had to bundle up along with all of the other kids as if we were outside because of the bad heating in the school. It was not until my last year of high school when the educational system finally got their act together and got brand new and totally up to date commercial heating and air conditioning systems for all schools in the district. That was all good and fine, but they really should have done this a lot sooner! Sure it was way back in the 1980’s, but still, there was good commercial heating and air conditioning technology back then and they were just too cheap to put out the money for it until enough parents complained. It just so happened that it was my last year of high school so I only got to benefit from it that one and only school year. But at least what made me feel good about it is that from that point on future generations in that area would have quality heating and air conditioning in their schools! My kids go to the same schools I went to nowadays and they have no issues with the heating and air conditioning. When I told them this story about my day in the school, they really did not believe me!
