My spouse plus I bought a apartment that had a attractive seasoned fireplace, and i fell in cherish with the seasoned mantle, plus I could not understand why anyone would have such a attractive fireplace in such a ratty seasoned house… My spouse told me it was the fireplace of the era plus then she told me the history of the house. I could imagine the balls that were held back then. I could picture the candles on the big chandeliers over the ballroom, and when I asked him how she knew the history of the house, and she told me it was a dwelling that she said she would own one day. Her fantastic Grandmother once lived here, plus it was her family home, and after buying the house, my friend and I wanted to put it back to her original splendor. I asked if my friend and I were going to make the fireplace a working fireplace. My good friend and I were looking outside, however my friend and I could not find a chimney for the fireplace. I thought they may have closed it off, however there was no chimney. My good friend and I got an architect to look at the house, plus she said my friend and I were right, they had taken the chimney down, plus the fireplace was now just for show. I was okay with that plus said I would put a fireplace insert into the hearth. As long as I could keep the fireplace, I will leave it as is, once all the replaces were made plus the apartment was looking like it did when it was new, my friend and I planned a party. The only changes my friend and I made were that there are flicker lights where there were once candles, plus a fireplace insert in the fireplace.
