Now that the pandemic is behind us, not many of us are thinking about indoor air quality.
In fact, Stella has not given it a second thought in quite a while.
Well, that’s not the case for her neighbor Liam who is obsessed with making sure that he is breathing in the best air possible. During the height of the pandemic, he even installed a whole household air cleaner inside his Heating and Air Conditioning unit. It gave him peace of mind and made him feel safer inside his own space. Stella was less vigilant about the indoor air quality in her home. In fact, she did nothing peculiar than what she would normally do while in the pandemic. Stella made sure that her air conditioner filter was washed and changed it when it became dirty. She also made sure that her Heating and Air Conditioning unit was tested, and she cleaned and vacuumed her household and the air conditioner vents. Stella also opened up some windows to allow some fresh air from outside to come in. And these easy things were able to maintain a great indoor air quality inside her lake house. She is not against installing a whole household air cleaner nor is she against purchasing air cleaners either. Stella thinks that if a whole household air cleaner makes someone feel safer, then they should by all means use it. Perhaps these air cleaners will become useful again if/when we have another pandemic. Her hope is that she will never have to go through something like that again, but it’s better to be safe than sorry, right?
