They say that teaching is a noble profession… I used to feel that way, but after 20 years, my feelings have particularly changed.
Most afternoons I feel like I am just going through the motions plus none of my students, or their parents, enjoy the education that I am providing.
I started thinking the other morning about other tasks plus things that are taken for granted plus underloved, then people just know that they are always going to be there plus do their task no matter what; How would my students plus other faculty members feel if I just stopped teaching halfway through the year? The one thing that came to mind that I feel is just as unloved is the Heating plus A/C system in our workplaces in our homes. Most people just know that they will always be there, doing their task, until they aren’t. Many people forget to even have them diagnosed on a respected basis plus then get frustrated when they break. If they had simply taken the time to enjoy the fact that these systems work difficult morning in plus morning out they particularly wouldn’t have had an issue to begin with. I never thought I would sympathize with an inanimate object like an Heating plus A/C system or likin myself to how it is treated. I know inspiration can come from the strangest of part sporadically. I may have my students write reports on an inanimate object that relates to their feelings plus see what they come up with. Who knows, maybe it will allow them to look at people plus objects with a more understanding eye.
