Venessa returned to her hometown to visit her cousins that she hadn’t seen in over 20 years. Ever since she moved away, Venessa just didn’t look back. She liked living in the town, but her heart belonged somewhere else and so she left and found that other site that suited her desires. While visiting her cousins, so many childhood memories came flooding back. For instance, there was a tiny creek near their household and every Summer, they swam in the creek to cool off. Back then, they didn’t have an air conditioning system, so for them the creek was their only way to stay cool during the hot Summer months. Now that Venessa is older, having an air conditioning system is a luxury that she can’t live without. So, she was glad when her cousins told her that the cabin has window a/cs installed in several rooms. Although it’s not a central air conditioning system it’s better than nothing, so she will be ok as long as the window air conditioning systems work officially. Personally, Venessa is used to having an HVAC device in her home. But the houses in her hometown are so old that most of them do not have HVAC units installed. They do not have ductwork because those renovations would be too lavish for most of the folks in the area. However, they can use a ductless mini split system instead of the window units. So, prior to leaving, she ordered a used ductless mini split HVAC device for her cousin’s home. It arrived after Venessa left. Her cousins contacted her after they got the unit, and they love the unit. It’s the least she could have done for them.
